International Orientation Program

Whether relocating to New Jersey for a short term, long term or permanent assignment, our international orientation program was designed to address the special needs of expatriates and their families. Our specialists are experts at helping international assignees with area familiarization, cultural acclimation, document preparation, account set-up, and helping to make the family feel at home in New Jersey.

Preparation:

• Pre-departure telephone contact
• Introduction to local customs and culture

Post Arrival Meeting:

• Accompany to Social Security Department and assist with application
• Accompany to Division of Motor Vehicles and assist with licensing
• Accompany to banking institution and assist with account set-up
• Determine best driving route to and from place of employment
• Assist with school tours and registration
• Provide information package personalized to each relocating employee, including maps, state driver’s manual, area and school profiles, public transportation, recreational, local periodicals, and service provider information
• Assist with the use of appliances
• Introduce to support groups and networking opportunities
• Coordinate language and cross cultural training for transferee and family
• Assist with utility set-up
