Permanent Residency in Canada

With Permanent Residency in Canada, you have all the same rights and responsibilities as a citizen, minus the ability to vote. With this status, you may live and work anywhere in Canada, you will receive most of the benefits that Canadian Citizen do, and you must also pay the required taxes and respect the laws of Canada at all levels (municipal, provincial, and federal).

Quebec Acceptance Certificate or Selection Certificate

As a foreigner coming to study or work temporarily in Quebec, or if you wish to immigrate, you need to obtain a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ), or Selection Certificate (CSQ) as well as a federal visa. The Quebec Acceptance Certificate, or Selection Certificate, is the document which proves you are authorized to work, study or live in the Province of Quebec specifically.
